An adjustment to the
Confirmation calendar needs to be made to avoid a conflict with the
spring musical.
Therefore, two dates
are going to be swapped – instead of having April 11th off, Confirmation
WILL meet. All 6-9th grade Confirmation students will have class from
6-8 pm. This two hour session takes the place of a one day spring
retreat, in previous years, held on a Saturday in April.
There will be NO
confirmation class for 6-9th grade on Wednesday, April 18th.

the left have been updated to reflect the changes.
Confirmation is for
students in grades 7 - 9. There
is also a separate pre-confirmation class
just for 6th graders.
Confirmation is an educational program of
the church devoted to teaching the basics of
the Christian faith and strengthening
growing faiths so that the students can with
integrity proclaim their faith in Jesus
Christ and live it out in their lives.
Confirmation is a partnership between
Christian homes (the first and primary place
where faith is taught) and the faith
community, where youth are nurtured and
supported by church staff and caring lay
adults. The confirmation program
centers on Scripture and Luther’s Small
Catechism, while a big group/small group
format encourages varied styles of learning
and promotes Christian community and
mission.
The cost for
Confirmation is $30 per child ($50 maximum
per family).
