Mission News

Family of God helps support the work of Rev. Clifford Lewis at St. Andrew United Church, in Cairo, Egypt. This ELCA Global Mission site is a worshiping community and hosts the Joint Refugee Ministry. More information is at www.elca.org. Members may sign up to give a week’s support of $30 on the 2008 Mission Support Chart.

Social Ministry Updates

Minneapolis Crisis Nursery: Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with serving suppers at the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery this year. We covered six nights and had lots of volunteers. A special thanks to the Sullivan family who headed up most of the nights. Watch for a poster with our 2009 dates and decide to give this project a try.
