10:30-11:30 am

First Communion Instruction

Coming up in the new year is First Communion instruction for Fifth Graders on Sundays, February 21, 28, March 7, 14 and closing with a student/parent workshop on Saturday, March 20, 9-11 am. First Communion Sunday will be March 21. Families will receive other details soon but can check with staff members or co-coordinators Kris Johnson or Kandi Zethren if questions.

Welcome to Sunday School!

Sunday School for children Age 3 to Fifth Grade began September 20. Registration forms for new or continuing students remain available on the website and at church. We are using “Spark” Active Faith Curriculum, a classroom-based format new this year. Sessions are from 10:30 to 11:30 and begin with large group opening in the Friendship Hall. Co-coordinators Kris Johnson and Kandi Zethren are glad to answer your questions.

Sunday School is held September through May at 10:30-11:30 am for ages 3 through Grade 5. We are excited about the year ahead and new materials, “Spark” Activate Faith curriculum from Augsburg Fortress. Registration forms are available at church or can be printed from the link below and dropped off at the church office during the week. The fee is $20 per child ($40 maximum per family).

5th Grade Acolytes

The 6th-8th grade confirmation classes are expected to help with worship by serving as acolytes, but this service is also open as an option to 5th graders. If your 5th grade son/daughter would like to serve as an acolyte and has not yet been trained, please contact the church office.
