Sunday School resumes
January 4, 10:30
am. Coming up in the new year is First Communion instruction
for Fifth Graders on Sundays, February 22, March 1, 8, 15,
and closing with a student/parent workshop on Saturday,
March 21. First Communion Sunday will be March 22. Families
will receive other details soon but can check with staff
members or coordinator Marlo Chelberg if questions.
Overview
Sunday School is offered September through May at
10:30-11:30 am for children age 3 through Grade 5.
Family of God (FOG) uses “IT” – Innovative Tools for
Children’s Ministry from Group Publishing to provide
children a unique learning experience. Children rotate
with their age groups through these stations: Music, Bible
Experience (lesson/activity) and Crafts.
The cost for Sunday School is
$15 per child ($30 maximum per family).
Registration forms can be picked up (or printed off the
church website) and dropped off in the Narthex or church
office.
Parents, other adults, and senior high youth who would like
to help as a leader, guide, or craft preparer are encouraged
to contact Marlo Chelberg or Randi Cragg.
5th Grade Acolytes
The 6-8th grade confirmation classes are
expected to help with worship by serving as acolytes, but this service is also open as an
option to 5th graders. If your 5th grade son/daughter would like to
serve as an acolyte, please contact the church office for more information.
