Signup has begun for...Camp Wapo!

Now through February 15, you can sign up your young person for summer camp. We have five spots reserved for kids who have completed fourth through ninth grade with Youth Camp. This runs from July 19-24. We also have five openings at Seeds Camp. This is intended for kids who have completed first through third grade. It goes from July 24-26. Our reserved slots mean that our kids will be able to stay together in their accommodations at camp. For those who enjoy seeing the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church kids, we're set for the same days as they are. Not familiar with Camp Wapo? Here's some info from their website: "Situated on a 22 acre peninsula between Lake Wapogasset and Bear Trap Lake near Amery, WI, is Camp Wapo. For over 70 years, Camp Wapo has been a place of grace for youth and adults to be challenged and inspired to grow in their relationship with God. During the summer, this site hosts over 300 campers each week, and it is full of activity year-round with retreats, events, and family activities. The facilities include two large retreat centers, a dining facility and several cabins to house campers and retreaters while they are guests of the camp. The most common things you will hear at Camp Wapo are laughter, singing, and kids running and shouting while playing field games." You can sign up your camper on the Camp Wapo website. or you can talk to Pastor Erin if you need help. The deposit is $150, which goes to the overall cost of camp. FOG will cover half the cost of camp, which we'll send directly to the camp office. If this is financially too much for you, please do not hesitate to talk to us at the office! No kid will be left out because of the cost. Finally, you are welcome to do pickup and dropoff with your camper in Wisconsin if you prefer, but Pastor Erin will drive everyone together in one vehicle otherwise for your convenience. We'll meet in the church parking lot, with details about that being provided closer to the summer.

Attention Acolytes and Crucifers

(5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders)

Please look for the new sign up sheet in the Narthex on the kiosk. Remember this is part of your confirmation class!!!!  We will try to fill out the whole year.  Please sign up for at least 10 church services thru the year.
